Performance Profile
Performance Engineering & Design has over 15 years of varied design, prototype and manufacturing experience. These experiences include
electrical / electronic, mechanical, optical, fixture and product development design, (personnel as well as project/product management). Also included is a wide range of varied CAD software experience; from printed circuit board layout software to high end solids modeling software such, as
ProEngineer,
Solidworks &
Inventor; UNIX and PC based systems. The experience along with the tools enables virtually a paperless design/documentation to take place, helping cut the ever crucial "time to market" factor. Another area of experience is vendor interface/involvement, along with component and vendor selection. Last but certainly not least is the strong ethic and team belief which is so crucial to maintaining a healthy long term relationship.

Another service which we are commonly asked to provide is to generate 3D solid model files from 2D drawings or 3 dimensional scans (from actual parts). Which is very popular for reverse engineering of the competitors product. Brainstorming or concepting of existing products can also be very useful in reducing part count, cost and simplifying manufacturability. These relatively small investments can pay large dividends over
